Level Up Village Is A Winner For The EdTech Digest Awards Program 2018

A pioneering provider of Global STEAM (STEM + arts) enrichment courses, Level Up Village (LUV) , was selected as one of the winners for the EdTech Digest Awards Program in the 21st Century Skills category. The program recognizes people in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology.“An inspirational and pioneering company lighting up the faces of students from all corners of the globe with the exhilaration of working together with their peers in other countries toward common STEAM goals” said Victor Rivero, Editor-in-Chief at EdTech Digest.

Like every year, the competition was fierce, and hard decisions were made in selecting winners with a great sense of excitement and responsibility. Featuring EdTech’s best and brightest, the annual recognition program shines a spotlight on cool tools, inspiring leaders, and innovative Trendsetters. “We are thrilled to be chosen as one of the cool tools for 21st century learning and education. This award represents our dedication to globally educating students around the world, with tomorrows tools, in order to enrich the lives of learners everywhere and help create our future global citizens.” said Amy McCooe CEO at Level Up Village.

Level Up Village connects students from around the world for virtual collaboration and cultural exchange through its roster of global STEAM courses, which cover topics such as CAD & 3D printing, web design, programming and water chemistry. Students apply design thinking to real-world challenges, conduct experiments and develop prototypes – all while communicating and collaborating with global partner students who are following the same curriculum. In March, Level Up Village was the first organization to receive the ISTE Seal of Alignment at the Proficiency Level for the 2016 ISTE Standards for Students. LUV courses also meet NCGS and Common Core state standards.
