The Honduras Child Alliance is a diverse, collaborative, volunteer-based group, collectively working to make life better for impoverished children in Honduras.
The Honduras Child Alliance is LUV’s newest partner. Their first LUV class begins in the second week in April and we hope this will be a long and fruitful partnership. United by a love of children and the desire to improve their opportunities, the HCA coordinates volunteer-powered projects to support education, health & hygiene, families, and community.
The HCA was founded by Eve Horowitz. Eve began visiting Honduras in 1992 and as she learned more about the social issues facing impoverished children in Honduras, she began developing volunteer-powered programs that have evolved to become the HCA.
